The active LPA east of Mindanao has strengthened into a full-fledged typhoon or minor Tropical Depression, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA). It is expected to enter the PAR in the coming hours and if it becomes a full-fledged typhoon by PAGASA, it will be called BasyangPH. Our countrymen, particularly in Visayas and Mindanao, are advised to prepare for the possible direct impact of the said typhoon in the coming days.
